Bach Original Flower Essences
In the 1920s and 30s, a noted homoeopath called Dr Edward Bach discovered a system of flower remedies that can help us rediscover the positive side of ourselves. He believed, as many doctors do today, that attitude of mind plays a vital role in maintaining health and recovering from illness. When he died in 1936 he had developed a complete system of 38 flower remedies, each prepared from the flowers of wild plants, trees and bushes.
Pioneered by Dr Bach these particular essences help us to let go of attitudes of mind that cause emotional stress and lead to physical health problems.
They work by treating the individual rather than the disease or its symptoms. Still made at Mount Vernon, the home of Dr Bach, Bach Original Flower Remedies are the only flower essences bearing Edward Bach’s signature.
The list below is split into seven emotional categories check each category to see which one you may identify with, read the ailment against each essence, you may well come across one or two that are close to home and would be the one which you would benefit from. For Example: Let us say you are the kind of person that would do just about anything to please another, you just find it too difficult to say ‘NO’ making you easily exploitable. You would be looking under the category of being over sensitive to the ideas and influences of other people around you. The essence that would help in this particular scenario would be Centaury.
