Vapouriser Recipes
For centuries now a wide spectrum of cultures have been aware of the powerful aphrodisiac potential of essential oils. Their fragrances can lift you up ready for that special night out, or balance emotions bringing a sense of warmth and relaxation. From physical ailments, to problems of the mind and spirit, aromatherapy has essential oils that can offer relief.

Essential oil Vapouriser
Your vaporizer can be used anywhere in your home, or office. However, if you find carrying around your vaporizer and oils a bit cumbersome, you could choose to use Joss sticks on those occasions when you are away from your home.
That Special Night In
- 1. Drop of rose essential oil *
- 2. Drops of ylang ylang essential oil *
- 3. Drops of sandalwood oil *
Add a small amount of water to the cup, adding the drops of essential oil to the top of the water, before lighting the burner. You could mix more than you need in an empty clean base oil bottle, or some other clean container, and top up the burner as the night goes on. This recipe will bring about a sensual mood, for that special night in.
If you have in mind a more raunchy occasion maybe the recipe below might be just what the doctor ordered, so to speak.
Intimate
- 2. Drops of patchouli oil *
- 2. Drops of cinnamon oil *
- 2. Drops of jasmine oil *
In the same vain as the last recipe add a small amount of water to the cup, adding the drops of essential oil to the top of the water, or mix more than you need in a container, this will then allow you to top up the burner as the night progresses.
Pick Me Up
- 4. Drops of bergamot oil *
- 3. Drops of lavender oil *
- 3. Drops of geranium oil *
Add a small amount of water to the cup, adding the drops of essential oil to the top of the water before lighting the burner. This recipe lends itself to a calming, uplifting atmosphere. Ideal after a very frustrating, unrewarding day at work.
Down and out
- 4. Drops of bergamot oil *
- 3. Drops of jasmine oil *
- 6. Drops of lavender oil *
Add a small amount of water to the cup, adding the drops of essential oil to the top of the water before lighting the burner. If you are feeling more than a little down the jasmine and lavender will help relieve any anxiety while the bergamot will help refresh your mind giving you a whole new perspective.
Germ Free
- 3. Drops of eucalyptus oil *
- 4. Drops of milissa oil *
- 3. Drops of lavender oil *
Add a small amount of water to the cup, adding the drops of essential oil to the top of the water before lighting the burner. This combination of oils will help to keep the atmosphere in your room germ free while helping you to relax. This recipe is excellent for winding down of an evening and at the same time offering protection against any nasty bugs you may have picked up during the day.
Tension Headaches
- Drops of lavender oil *
- Drops of niaouli oil *
- Drops of peppermint oil *
- Drops of aniseed oil *
After adding a little water to the top of your vaporiser, drop between five or six drops of the above essential oils in it. Sit back and relax with your eyes closed until the headache begins to ease. The above recipe would also help migraine sufferers.
Party Surprise
- 6. drops of cinnamon Oil *
- 1. drop of ginger Oil *
- 1. drop of lemon Oil *
- 2. drops of frankincense *
- 35ml. sweet almond carrier oil *
Mix in 35ml sweet almond carrier oil. Add a small amount of water to the cup of your vapouriser, add a little of your mix of essential oils to the top of the water before lighting the burner.
This one is an excellent recipe to burn in a oil burner for dinner parties it will make your guests feeling warm and happy, or it can be used to act as a mood enhancer for that special candle light dinner at home for two. it encourages a feeling of warmth and happiness.
